 The highly effective active oxygen disinfection process is silent and takes only 7 to 12 minutes, after which the ozone is completely decomposed within 2 hours. The SoClean indicates when this process is complete with a green LED light. Afterwards, the CPAP therapy equipment can be removed and used directly. Please remove dirt, e.g. body fat, before disinfection. Neutral cleaning wipes are ideal for this purpose. You will find our cleaning products in the CPAP Cleaning category.

How does SoClean 2 actually work?

With the help of electricity and a Tesla coil integrated in the device, ozone is generated from the oxygen in the room air and pumped through the SoClean, the adapted CPAP device, the connected tubes, the humidifier chamber and the mask with a small silent pump. Viruses, bacteria and fungi are thus eliminated by 99.9%. After the disinfection process, the ozone decomposes naturally again. The excess is filtered through the active carbon so that no more active oxygen can enter the environment. So no additional water or chemicals are needed for disinfection. This keeps your system completely dry. Any odours absorbed by the mask are also eliminated, giving you the feeling of wearing a new mask!

Where is ozone used for cleaning?

For years, companies in the food, aerospace, water treatment and hygiene industries in hotels and hospitals have used ozone generators.

What is not working?

SoClean is intended exclusively for the disinfection of PAP components. Natural rubber and nylon decompose on contact with ozone. These materials are not normally used for PAP devices and accessories, such as hoses, containers, masks, headgear, etc. If in doubt, consult the manufacturer or supplier. Custom-made masks are not suitable for disinfection in SoClean, as treatment with ozone can cause discolouration of the material. Unfortunately, due to the compact design of the SoClean, Philips Respironics PreforMax full-face masks cannot be used in the SoClean. Please note the dimensions under "Technical details".

Does SoClean 2 work with your CPAP machine?

Most CPAP devices can be easily disinfected with SoClean.

The SoClean 2 CPAP disinfection device is not compatible with the SOMNOvent series!
